(1) For the Hosted Online Service, all you need is your browser! We provide the servers.
(2) License the Installed Boxed Version to run Collaboroom from your own server at a rental rate based on usage with no annual fee.
(3) Application Service Providers and Internet Service Providers: If you wish to provide Collaboroom as a service to multiple organisations, then you will need a License for the Installed Boxed Version to run Collaboroom from your own servers for Multiple Organisations. Alternatively, we can offer you volume discounts on the Hosted Online Service for Multiple Organisations.
(4) Screen sharing requires Windows PC for person sharing their screen. Audience may view from Windows/Mac/Linux.
(5) A single room is provided for the Tutor or Consultant Version. Unlimited rooms are provided for other Versions. Each room may contain multiple whiteboard slides and media files (number limited only by available server space).
(6) A connection is required for each person using Collaboroom at any one time. When one person leaves a room, their connection becomes available for another person to use.
(7) The Installed Boxed Server is licensed for a maximum of 250 concurrent user connections. An additional license for the Installed Boxed Server may be purchased to enable an additional 250 concurrent users on your server. We suggest that each concurrent connection could support approximately 20 users logging in and out at different times throughout the day. At this ratio, 250 concurrent connections could support 5000 users logging in and out of the system throughout the day, with a maximum of 250 logged in together at any one time. We base this on each connection being re-used in 20 minute slots throughout an eight-hour day providing a total of 24 slots each day, approximately one for each of 20 users. This could provide for example one 20 minute tutoring session per person each and every day.
(8) Each Hosted Version includes a Server Space allowance for online storage of media files in the room folders. Storage on the Installed Server Versions are limited only by your available server space.
(9) Collaboroom Hosting includes a Data Transfer allowance. Additional Data Transfer is charged for at $5/GB. Because Collaboroom usage is charged for according to Data Transfer, this means that the number of hours of available meeting time may be greatly extended by use of text chat instead of Audio/Video conferencing. Screen Sharing will use your Data Transfer allowance more rapidly.
(10) Forum support is free, but phone, email and Remote Desktop support is charged for.
(11) The license for the Online Hosted Service is included in the monthly running cost. The Installed Server Version license for a single organisation allows for a maximum of 250 concurrent user connections. Purchase additional licenses to cater for more connections. Please enquiry about a license for multiple organisations if you wish to operate as an Application Service Provider (ASP) or Internet Service Provider (ISP).
(121) The current first year annual fee is $2,500 with a discount applying to license renewals. The annual fee for each year after the first is 20% of that of the first year. The annual fee covers cost of product development and any ongoing improvement of the product.
(13) Installation support is charged for. This enables us to keep the license cost to a minimum for those users that can install and run Collaboroom without assistance.
(14) Setup is free for the Hosted Online Service Versions. .
(15) Running costs for the Hosted Online Service Versions cover Server Storage Space and Server Data Transfer. Each user is responsible for their own Internet connection charges. The Installed Server Versions require their own separate Hosting and Data Transfer plans.
(16) Easy integration of rooms with your web site or LMS using a single line of HTML code. Advanced integration of the paid Hosted Online Service and Boxed Server Versions with user management systems using a Web Services API is also possible.
(17) Use of your own domain name is possible. Please enquire about this customisation and pricing.
(18) Branding images may be updated to match those of your organisation. Collaboroom branding remains alongside your own branding. Collaboroom branding may be removed for a surcharge of US$500 plus any rebranding costs.
(19) Additional custom features may be developed to meet your unique requirements. Please enquire about specific customisation and pricing.
Pricing
The Collaboroom Hosted Online Service may be paid for on a monthly basis that covers server space and data transfer according to a plan. A custom plan may also be created to provide storage space and data transfer allowances to meet your specific requirements.
Volume discounts are available to resellers for purchase of the one-off license for the Installed Boxed Version enabling them to on sell Collaboroom to their customers. Please contact us if you would like to enquire about becoming a reseller.

Support
Forum support is provided free. Installation assistance, Training and Phone/Email support may be purchased. Please contact us to discuss a support package that will best suit your needs.
Licensing
Collaboroom is licensed for use and not sold. All intellectual property rights are retained by Net Design Ltd, New Zealand. Licenses for the Installed Boxed Version are allow use on a single server running on a single domain for a single organisation. A separate license for hosting multiple organisations as an application service provider (ASP) may be purchased for an agreed price. Please contact us if you wish to enquire about an ASP license for Collaboroom.
Collaboroom Installed Boxed Server may not be used to set up a competitor service to that of the Collaboroom Hosted Online Service.
